Proudly established on the 16th February 2009 by a group of entrepreneurs who are markedly passionate about the future direction of the specialty gifts and premium industry.The Association represents companies from across the gifts and premium industry – manufacturers, designers, specialty services providers, wholesalers, importers, exporters, retailers - from sole traders to sizable organizations. This association is dedicated to the advancement and development of the gifts and premium industry and working hard not only in Malaysia but also exploring, exploiting and expanding into the international market.

The Association is managed and steered by an elected board of committee from member companies, all of whom have extensive experience in the industry, assisted by a full-time secretariat which provide administrative support to all the members.

MGPA strives to position the Gifts & Premium industry to be one of the reputable and respectable industries in Malaysia by enhancing Innovation and Creativity among our members.

MGPA envisions to be the leading and exemplary Gifts & Premium Association in Malaysia providing professional services to our members in pursuit of business excellence and continual growth.

Companies whose main activities are in the corporate gifts and premium business,novelties, gifts and toys shops, printed products such as diaries, greeting cards, etc., hampers, balloons, party packs, food packs as gifts, trophies, wooden products, etc. can join us under the full membership.

Companies who are in the gifts supporting industries such as silkscreen or embroidery, other services providers or machineries dealer related to the above may also apply under the associate membership.
