There have many kinds of artwork can be used in hangtags, bronzing process is one of artwork, which can let the pattern on the hangtags looks more clearly, beautiful, colorful and can be more abrasion, weathering. The bronzing process is use the hot transfer principle, let the aluminum in the anodized aluminum layer onto the substrate surface to form a special metal effect. Because the mainly material is anodized aluminum foil, so it also called hot stamping. Anodized aluminum foil is usually constituted by multilayer material, the substrates is PE, and separation of coating, a color coating, a metal coating(aluminum) and glue coating. Hot stamping’s basic process is the hot stamping foil pressed by stamping version substrate. When the anodized aluminum heated, silicone resin layer on it with thermo fusibleand adhesive melted, thermally melted silicone resin viscosity becomes small, and thermally melted special thermo sensitive adhesive’s viscosity is increased. So theanodized aluminum base film is transferred onto the substrate and the aluminum layerpeelingat the same time. With the pressure dropped, the adhesive quickly cooled and solidified, the aluminum layer is firmly attached to the substrates, stamping process was complete. Hot stamping has two functions. First, surface decoration, it can increase the value of thehangtags. A combination of hot stamping, embossing process and other processing methods, can show the strong decorative effect on the products. The second is to give the product a higher security features, such as the use of holographic positioning hot stamping trademarks.Foil stamping is environmentally friendly due to it being a dry process. It does not use solvents or inks and does not create any harmful vapors. A successful hot stamping job is directly related to the quality of the original artwork. The original artwork should be “camera-ready”. The better the artwork at the beginning, the better the imprint reproduction result. |
