Release time:2013-02-28 Source:admin Reads: | |
China's textile and garment industry has grown at an average annual rate of more than 15% since it joined the WTO. The gross industrial output value of textile enterprises above designated size rose from RMB88 billion in early 2001 to above RMB470 billion in 2010,and is expected to exceed RMB5 trillion in 2012. Exports have been an important drive and profit source of the Chinese textile and garment industry. The export value of the industry rose from USD50 billion in early 2001 to USD206.5 billion in 2010. But the Chinese textile exports to the U.S, the Euro zone and Japan dropped respectively by 3.76%, 7.11% and 0.84% between January and November in 2012. The recession in global textile and garment industry inevitably has an intensive impact on those focusing on developing seal tags, one kind of necessities in garment industry. The markets have become more and more competitive as other exporters tried to expand their shares. Meanwhile, the costs of labors, raw materials, environment and resources in China have kept rising. The credit has gotten tight. Under the pressure of these factors, China's textile and garment export growth may slow down. The enterprises will have to get more boosts from their transformation and upgrading. Those who only keep an eye on garments’ quality, style, design and color will surely fall behind others; instead they should pay more attention to something special rather than garments themselves, such as seal tags. Seal tags are attached to apparels showing relevant information like brand, logo, etc. Thanks to small space, little information can be shown. But smart manufacturers know how to put them into full play in right way. Nowadaysseal tags are best way to inexpensively advertise brand and reinforce brand image. Backed by sophisticated technology and intricate technique, there are various effects for words printed on seal tags, such as embossing, crystal epoxy, gold foil printing and so on, in order to catch customers’ eyes and make the finishing touch for garments to stand out from the rest. There is no doubt that garment suppliers have to find a different way to revive in the fierce competition. |
