As for this problem, there are two important factors to be taken into consideration, which are the material of the cloth and ink. The materials of the cloth are nylon, satin, cotton, damask etc. There is a material called taffetawhich is the most economical material available and is priced lower than damask or satin. But it is usually use for woven labels.
Satin and cotton are main materials to make printed labels. As for satin, it is not soft and usually looks shiny. The surface of satin is smooth, so sometimes it is not easy to absorb the ink. Once the satin printed labels are washed for several times, the letters or pictures on the surface may be faded. Generally, this situation appears only for few times. This is based on the quality of the satin. As you know, there are all kinds of patterns of satin in the market. And the quality is different. There are good ones and bad ones.
Regarding the ink of the printed labels, it is the most decisive factor in the problem of discoloring. There are majority of people considering that the foreign ink is better than the ones in domestic. This is wrong. The expert said that the ink in domestic is also with better quality. Even though using the common ink, the color on the printed labels may not be fade easily. The effect will be perfect if the products through some special process, such as polish after printing. In one word, the problem of discoloring won’t appear easily in normal situation. |
