| The Characteristics of Polyester Made Printed Lanyards Polyester is an important species in synthetic fibers. Polyester printed lanyards are commonly used in mobile phone products. 1. High strength. The staple fiber strength is 2.6 ~ 5.7cN/dtex, and high strength fibers is 5.6 ~ 8.0cN/dtex. Due to the low moisture absorption, its wet strength and dry strength are substantially the same. Impact strength is 4 times higher than the nylon, 20 times higher than that of viscose fibers. 2. Good elasticity. Elasticity close to wool, when elongation of 5% to 6%, almost can completely restored. Crumpling resistance is higher than any other fibers, the fabric does not wrinkle, good dimensional stability. The elastic modulus is 22 ~ 141cN/dtex, and 2 to 3 times higher than the nylon. 3. Good heat resistance. 4. Polyester surface is smooth, internal molecular are tightly packed, lack of hydrophilic molecular structure, so the moisture regain is small, poor hygroscopicity. 5. Good abrasion resistance. Abrasion resistance is only second to the best abrasion resistance nylon, are better than other natural and synthetic fibers. Good lightfastness. Lightfastness is second to acrylic fibers. 7. Corrosion-resistant. Resistant to bleach, oxidizing agents, hydrocarbons, ketones, petroleum products and inorganic acidS, dilute alkali, not afraid of mildew, but hot alkali can make it break down. 8.
