As you know, Using hangtags is a way to label and price clothing or other retail goods. When you are shopping and a garment catches your eye, one of the first things you might look at is the hangtag. A well-designed hangtag can make a difference in grabbing the attention of customers and helping to sell your clothes. So it’s very important to make a creative hangtag. To make a creative hangtag need below steps: 1, Draw the shape you want your hangtags to be on card stock. Classic hangtag shapes are often rectangular with one end cut into a trapezoid. Use a cookie cutter as a template for other shapes, such as hearts, leaves or stars. 2, Cut out the hangtag shape you drew. Use the cut-out hangtag as a template to trace the shape onto the card stock, or continue to use the cookie cutter. 3, Trace the template onto the back (unprinted) side of a piece of colored or patterned origami or wrapping paper. Repeat this process for as many hangtags as you have, using different paper for eye-catching variety. 4, Glue the cut-out shapes of origami or wrapping paper to one side of each of the card stock hangtags. 5, Choose a stamp you like or that represents your brand or store. Press the stamp firmly onto the stamp pad to cover it with ink. Colored or metallic stamp pads create a more eye-catching effect. On the blank side of the hangtag, position the stamp and press it down firmly, smoothing over the surface to evenly print the ink. Write names, brand or prices below the stamped image. 6, Punch a hole at the top of each of the hangtags when they are dry. Cut the ribbon into 6-inch increments and pass one end through the punched hole. Tie a bow. Use a safety pin to attach the hangtags to clothing. |
