Singer Charlotte Wessel of Dutch symphonic metallurgical DELAIN was interviewed by Spirit of Metal prior to the band's September 21 performance in Anaheim, California as the support act for KAMELOT. Delaine's third full-length studio album, "We are the others", was released in North America via the New Jersey-based top-tier progressive metal label Sensory Records. CNR Entertainment handled the release in The Netherlands and Roadrunner Records issued the CD in the rest of Europe. NORTHERN Irish rockers The Answer were considered among of the brightest stars in modern British rock' n' roll a decade ago but label and personnel issues has kept the band quiet of late. Their fourth album, New Horizon, has just been released through legendary metal label Napalm and singer Cormack Nelson says: "It's been ready to go for seven or eight months but we've been sitting on it for a while. "We are glad it's finally out and the fans can get their teeth into it. It's probably our heaviest album to date and it's quite aggressive compared to our first three records." For a band with such a strong undercurrent of blues, the heavier direction on the new album is due to a combination of reasons. Nelson: "We never want to make the same record twice – we always want to keep things fresh. And we always challenge ourselves to outdo anything we've done before. That led us down a heavier route."
